So in the mornings when you have school/work, you know you really should just wake up instead of tossing around in bed and checking your alarm - 1hour, 30 minutes or 8 minutes before it goes off. Well, I was having one of those lazy mornings today and kept on checking the time. Do you also know the feeling of how you fall back asleep and you start to dream different dreams every time you wake up and go back to sleep? No matter how much you liked one dream and you try to fall back into sleep to continue the dream.. it never seems to happen? Yeh, I hate when that happens.
Well the point is, this morning I had a dream about going GREEN in public restrooms. In the dream, I was waiting in line for the ladies' restroom. This restroom was filled with toilet paper and paper towels on the floor. It was filthy. Then in my dream, a girl stepped out of line and picked up a piece of trash to dispose into the garbage. Another dreamy girl asked "What are you doing?" Dream girl #1 says, "Saving the world, one tree at a time for people like you and I in the future."
The point of this post is, that I realized this bathroom line scene is something that I see everyday. Especially on nights that I go to the club where the bathrooms are trashed by the end of the night. I realized that we do wastefully use paper towels, toilet paper and toilet seat covers when it's there in abudance. Why don't restrooms have more eco-friendly options, like an automatic hand dryer? It would help to save on buying a lot of paper towels and also help to keep bathrooms cleaner. After this, I started thinking about how else can we maintain cleaner bathrooms and go green. I thought about is there another way to save on toilet paper... then I thought ... uhhh .. no... that's pretty gross. Nevermind. Haha. But hey, maybe if they installed the Japanese style toilets where they spray your ass with warm water and have an automatic dryer built into the toilet? It is already made possible!
